By default your connection is read-only: Claude can analyze your Google Ads accounts, but cannot change anything.
Without write access, Ads Studio can read and analyze your data, but every attempt to change something (budgets, bids, keywords or ads) will be declined. Write access is reviewed and granted manually. You can request it later at any time.
Next step: Google will ask which permissions you want to grant. Please make sure the checkbox for „Manage your AdWords campaigns“ is ticked. Without it, the connection cannot access any of your accounts.
